Dapper Labs, the creators of the iconic CryptoKitties, are aiming to move continents of Telegram crypto games with the launch of seven Meowcoins on the Flow blockchain. The airdrop is a complete reimagining of tokenomics and gameplay for the Telegram-native title, CryptoKitties: All The Zen.
Airdrop Kicks Off a New Era in Telegram Crypto Games
This Wednesday, players from the first two seasons of All The Zen will receive airdropped Fancy Coins and Beancoins, kickstarting Dapper’s multi-token ecosystem. A seventh token will drop the following week, with more airdrops to follow at the end of each game phase, keeping the economy fresh and players engaged.
Why Seven Tokens? Avoiding the Trap of One-Token Hype
Unlike most Telegram crypto games that launch with a single token, Dapper Labs is going wide. “We saw the pump-and-dump cycles, the unsustainable hype,” said Arthur Camara, VP of Product at Dapper Labs. “We wanted to build something that’s fun, and lasts”.

It’s a strategic move. Many single-token Telegram games have tanked post-launch. Notcoin (NOT) is down 93% from its peak. Catizen (CATI) has dropped 92%. Zoo (ZOO)? Down 94%. Even Hamster Kombat’s widely anticipated HMSTR token has slipped 63%.
Dapper’s answer is an ecosystem designed around player action, not speculation.
Meowcoins Explained: Fancy, Bean, and Family
The Meowcoin system breaks down into three key tokens:
- Fancy Coins: Earned by completing quests, logging in, or opening in-game crates. There are five types, one per family in the All The Zen universe.
- Beancoins: Acquired more slowly through gameplay, acting as a rarer in-game currency.
- Family Coins: Crafted by burning one Fancy Coin from each family. They’re rare, prestigious collectibles earned by dedicated players.
Each seasonal event in All The Zen brings a new set of these tokens, ensuring continuity and utility while avoiding token clutter.
Built-In Utility: Prediction Markets and Staking
Dapper isn’t just handing players tokens. It’s giving them tools to use them. In the upcoming Rumor Mill, players can bet Fancy Coins on narrative outcomes within the CryptoKitties world. This prediction market will run across a Telegram bot, social media, and web interface.
In future updates, players will also be able to stake Family Coins against Beancoins, generating more rewards through gameplay rather than idle speculation.
No Telegram Blockchain? No Problem.
While Telegram crypto games often rely on The Open Network (TON), Dapper Labs is building All The Zen on Flow, the same blockchain that powered NBA Top Shot. Due to Telegram’s exclusivity deal with TON, Meowcoins won’t integrate directly into the Telegram blockchain, but the game remains fully playable inside Telegram, with Flow handling the backend.
A Long-Term Vision for Telegram Gaming
The team at Dapper is betting that fun-first gameplay and on-chain mechanics can break the tap-to-earn curse. “Those other games didn’t survive because they weren’t fun,” Camara said. “We created the first blockchain game in 2017. Now we’re doing it again, with more depth and more reasons to stick around.”
With seven interconnected tokens, seasonal events, prediction markets, and staking, Meowcoins aim to be more than just collectibles. They’re the backbone of a new kind of a Telegram crypto game.
