Caesar’s Temple is thrilled to announce the deployment of our game on Boba-BNB, taking full advantage of hybrid computing to bring fast, reliable, and secure randomness to our GambleFi experience.
The Caesar’s Temple team aims to revolutionize the fields of GameFi and Play-to-Earn (P2E) by introducing a fully on-chain gambleFi metaverse that prioritizes player skill and effort while offering a sustainable reward system.
Prior GameFi efforts seldom designed their rulesets to cater to all kinds of smart contract users, such as botters and UI users. Systems marketed as “Play-To-Earn” were often “Pay-To-Win” as player power or asset-generating ability was gated behind expensive non-fungible assets.
Caesar’s Temple aims to address these issues by creating a fully on-chain gambleFi metaverse that combines GameFi elements with gambleFi to create a fun new experience and sustainable player reward system.
The main goal is to reward player effort and skill by distributing monetary prizes to the more persistent and strategic players. By introducing gambleFi, players can claim and earn monetary prizes from reward pools funded directly by the game’s revenue. GambleFi also makes it possible to provide rewards at every step, with varying odds throughout different stages of the game, and to reward in-game assets that will have a future use case.
To power the gambleFi components of Caesar’s Temple, Boba Network’s Hybrid Compute will be heavily utilized to provide secure random numbers.
After careful deliberation, the Caesar’s Temple team found that Boba Network is the best-suited technology to house Caesar’s Temple due to its exceptional scaling and the Hybrid Compute feature.
Caesar’s Temple will be a transaction-heavy game resembling a slot machine and incremental gameplay. For this reason, high-speed and low-gas transactions are essential to delivering a solid user experience.
Caesar’s Temple will launch in phases, beginning with its first batch of content titled “Six Elements.”
The story surrounds Hades as he opens his altar and allows users to collect gems of power associated with six different elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Dark, and Light. Each element contains two or three types of gems, all with different odds of being collected. If a player can collect at least one of each different gem in a given element, that player will be able to exchange a set for a monetary prize (BOBA tokens).
Users must pay Hades (aka the smart contract) either BOBA tokens or Pearls (PRL) to play. PRL is the first token in Caesar’s Temple and will be minted from Aphrodite’s Pearl Fountain by submitting an offering (in BOBA tokens).
The distribution of PRL is deterministic but will be fully removed from circulation when spent on gems. In future phases, the assets acquired in Six Elements will be used to create new assets enabling access to other content.
